He was predeceased by: his parent Bessie Ashmore Strickland; and his sister Leonora Mizelle. He is survived by: his parent Thaddeus Olin Strickland; his wife Sally Strickland of Locust Grove; his children, Michael Strickland (Kim) of Acworth and Sheryl King (Wes) of McDonough; his grandchildren, Challaghan, Rory, Skyler Strickland, Tristan Thomas and Dawson Babischkin; and his siblings, Ilene Bond, Mary Payne, Jean Shapland and Thad Strickland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
