He was predeceased by: his parents, Kertis W. Elkins and Jean Robinson Elkins; and his parents-in-law, Emma Taylor Prince and James Edward Taylor, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Taylor-Elkins; his sons, Kert Elkins, Jr. (Laura) and Jeffrey Roberts (Nikki); his grandchildren, Chandler Elkins and Greyson Roberts; his sister Susan Blankenship (Jimmy); his brothers-in-law, William Taylor and James Pete Taylor (Debra Pye); his nephews, Jacob, Jamie, Chris and James; and his niece Lacey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Haisten Funerals & Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
