June Smith Elkins Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June Smith Elkins of Locust Grove, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Smith and Homer Smith. She is survived by: her brothers, Tate and Pierce; her husband John Gaillard Gardner of Locust Grove; her former husband Richard H. Elkins, Sr.; and her sons, David Elkins (Elaine Jones), John Elkins (Judy) of Locust Grove, Georgia, Jerry Elkins (Sandra) of Clarksville, Georgia, Steve Elkins (Cathy) of Griffin, Georgia and Colonel Paul Gardner (Debbie) of Madison, Alabama. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
