He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Hall and Mary Jackson Hall; and his daughter-in-law Barbara Hall. He is survived by: his son Greg Hall; his siblings, Bud, Jim Hall, Brenda Edwards, Charlotte Bradshaw and Loretta Miller; his grandchildren, Jay Hall, Linda Heard and Lori Love; and his great grandchildren, Haley Love, Lindsey Heard and Lorian Heard.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (250 Hall Cove Rd, Warne, NC 28909). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
