He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson and Martha Jackson; and his brother James "Red" Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Palmer Jackson; and his children, Angie O'Keefe (Thomas) of Dayton, TN, Johnny "Gene" Eugene Jackson, Jr. (Debi) of Jackson and James Jackson (Laura) of Rex. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
