He is survived by: his wife Lynn Carter; his children, Kelli Austin (Nick), Jared Carter (Lauren) and Alex Carter; his grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Hayden Austin, Kendall Carter, Maci Carter, Averie Carter, Ansley Austin and Mallory Austin; his great grandchild Austella Smith; and his siblings, Randall Carter (Debbie), Barry Carter and Carol Rice (Louie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
