He is survived by: his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Cindy Simmons of Locust Grove, Georgia; his daughter Kay Simmons of Rex, Georgia; his grandchildren, Justin, Kimberly Simmons of Monroe, Bradley, Tiffany Simmons of Lewisburg, Britani Simmons, Evan Griggs of Griffin and Alisha Williams of Atlanta Georgia; and his brother Jackie Simmons of Tuscaloosa. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
