She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Whitaker, Sr. and Elizabeth Youngker Wehrley; her daughter Lisa Hughes; and her brother William Edward Whitaker, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Keith Hughes (Sandy), Chris Hughes (Jennifer), Todd Hughes (Patty) and William Edward Whitaker III; her grandchildren, Jeff, Brandon (Paige), Alyssa (Tim), Ashley (Mitchell), Austin, Sarah, Caitlyn, Grayson, Justin and Josh; her great grandchildren, Kyle, Addie, Eliza, Laila and Mitchell; and her sister Ruth Burkhead. She is also survived by several nephews and their wives.
