She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar Lister and Lena Floyd Lister; her husband William Lanier Carter (Billy); her daughters, Terri Carter Cantrell and Cindy Carter Holder; and her siblings, Kimper Lister Knight, Deloras Lister Tucker, Wilfred "Fred" Franklin Lister, Charles Edgar Lister Jr. of Dewell Andre, Johnny Eugene Lister, Alva Quinton Lister and Croal Daniel Lister.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Katie Cantrell Drake (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Addison of Dallas, GA., Brooklyn of Dallas, GA. and Emersyn of Dallas, GA.; her son-in-law Warren Emory Holder; her grandchildren, Tammy Cook (Buster) of Locust Grove, Warren Carter Holder (Dana) of Locust Grove, Ellen Cook Nunn (Colton) of Locust Grove, Allison Cook of Locust Grove, John Carter Holder of Locust Grove and Timothy Warren Holder of Locust Grove; and her sisters, Nell L. Newcomer of Macon and Janice L. Preston of Gray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
