She was predeceased by: her father William Audie Nichols; her husband Louie Clinton Gillespie; her sons, Clinton Gillespie Jr. (Lynn), Dennis Gillespie and Crayton Gillespie; her brothers, William Audie Nichols Jr., Thomas Nichols and Jerome Nichols; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Noel Howell and Steven Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Zink (Mike) of Hayesville, N. C. and Kevin Gillespie (Cathy) of Locust Grove, GA.; her siblings, Dennis Nichols (Janet) of Walhalla, Ellen McDonald of Rockingham and Barbara Lanning of Salem; her grandchildren, Holly Lyles (Jason), Jonathan Gillespie (Michelle), Keri Salazar (Matt), Kevin Gillespie Jr. (Valerie), Katie Gillespie (Chris), Kayla McCarter (Doug) and Melissa Naulta (Justin); and also, Lynn Gillespie of Jackson, Casey and Sharon Hill of Locust Grove, Georgia.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
