Billy Morton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Morton of Locust Grove, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold William Morton, Sr. and Isabel Moody Morton. He is survived by: his wife Brinda Leatherwood Morton; his children, Carol Ann Summers (Jeff), Pam Thornton (Brian) and Michael Morton (Kena); his grandchildren, Zac Summers (Chelsea), Cob Summers, Katey Summers, Rachel McClean (Trey), Joshua Thornton (Jordan), Caleb Thornton (Jessica), Nikolas Thornton, Bella Morton, Reid Morton and Tyler Morton; his great grandchildren, William, Avery, Simon, Harvey and Shepherd; and his siblings, Jerry Morton (Jane), Ellen Caldwell (Lester) and Gary Morton (Jan). He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the County Line Baptist Church (3325 GA-162, Covington, GA 30016). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
