He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry and Gladys Tucker Douglas; his wife LaCora; his son Mike; and his siblings, Karleen Douglas Devane and Dubignion Douglas.
He is survived by: his children, Amelia Wilson (Parks) of Cedar Key, Alan Douglas of Rincon and David Douglas (Lynn) of Lizella, Georgia; and his brother Thomas Wendell Douglas of Madison, Mississippi. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
