He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamar R. Shipman and Frances K. Shipman; his wife Paulette W. Shipman; and his brothers, Charles Oliver Shipman, Scott Kevin Shipman and Lamar "Butch" Shipman.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Shipman (Tanya) and Melissa Warrington (Scott); and his brother Joe W. Shipman. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
