He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Swofford Epps; his parents, Itice Vera Edwards Epps and Owen Newton Epps; his brother Thomas Newton Epps; his sister-in-law Joanne Prince Epps; and his son-in-law David Spencer Weatherly.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tami Conner (Matt) of Richmond Hill and Lauri Overcash (Bruce) of Chesnee, SC; his grandchildren, Daniel Conner (Amanda), Rachel Conley (Elisabeth), Joshua Conner, Andrew Conner, Hannah Conner, Bruce Weatherly and Zachary Weatherly; and his great grandchild London Conley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
