He is survived by: his wife Pearline Palmer Harmon; his daughters, Jewelle (Kendell Rice) and Joycelyn; his grandson Julian Rice; his sister Dr. Paula Boone (Melvin, Sr.); his nieces, Debra Johnson and JD; his nephew Richard Johnson (Morgan); his great-nieces, Veronica Avent, Amanda Johnson and Sophia Johnson; and also, Alivia Johnson and Trevor Avent.
