He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert Abbott and Anna Lou Abbott; and his sister Rachel Pritchett. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Moreland Abbott; his children, Judy Doi (David) of Johns Creek, Susan Davis (Duck) of Conyers, Jenny Gordon (Dan) of Buford and Jeff Abbott (Christy) of Dahlonega; his grandchildren, Andrea Duncan (Chris), Jessica Weaver (Derek), Lauren Dean (Daniel), Ryan Doi, Ronnie Gordon, Sydney Gordon, Austin Abbott and Alex Abbott; and his sisters, Vera Born and Jean Owens. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
