He was predeceased by: his parents, James Homer and Katie Lou Shumate Robertson; and his siblings, Thomas Robertson, Marvin Robertson, Betty Jean Robertson, Ethel Dobbs, Roselle Bowers and Gladys Warbington.

He is survived by: his niece Judy Dobbs; and his nephews, Mike Morris, Donald Dobbs and Rodney Robertson.
