He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bowens and Carrie Bowens; and his grandchild Courtney Bowens. He is survived by: his children, Gary Bowens and Sindi Brown (Willie); his siblings, Helen Coulter, Bernard and Harold Bowens; and his granddaughters, Kayla and Erica Brown. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
