It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Jones of Lithonia, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his close friend Celesia Muhammad; his children, Latreasia Jennings, Tiffany Jennings, Crystal Jennings (David Varnado), Alvin Gamble (Myia Canidate), Alzavier Gamble, Alicia Gamble, Jeremiah Gamble, Alexandria Gamble, Joy Jones and Jerry Jones, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Asia Jennings, Timothy Sutton, Makayla Jennings, Tamiyah Sutton, Serenity Gordon, Merease Gordon, David Varnado, Jr., Zaniyah Gordon, Jeremy Gordon, Isaiah Gamble, Zahara Varnado, Saddiyah Gamble, Zion Jennings, Jeremiah Gamble, Jr. and Zaire Allyn Touray. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Legacy Funeral Home, Inc. (8968 Fayetteville Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Cemetery (2275 Joseph E. Boone Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30314).
