Carl L. Merritt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl L. Merritt of Lithonia, Georgia, born in Conyers, Georgia, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Estelle Merritt; and his siblings, Clyde Merritt, Marie Sheppard, Elizabeth Smith and Hazel Adams.
He is survived by: his close friend Garmie Tyner; his children, Jeff Merritt (Brenda) of Lithonia, Debbie Strickland of Covington and Pam McCoy of Lithonia; the mother of his children Janet Merritt; his grandchildren, Kelly, Ginger, Terry, Amanda, Renae and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Alicia, Abigail, Jasper, Gabi, Kevin, Malachi, Skylar, Ryan and Barrett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
