With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ledford of Lithonia, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Ledford; and her children, Linda Gilmer, Ricky Ledford, Bobby Ledford and Gregory Ledford.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Dustin Ledford, Forrest Silverwood, Aurora Silverwood and Alexander Silverwood. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hillandale Memorial Park (6201 Hillandale Dr, Lithonia, GA 30058).
