Alvester Bryant Jr. Obituary
Mr. Alvester Bryant Jr. entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2022. Born Christmas day, to Alvester Bryant and the late Beulah Hill. Raised in Richmond Heights, Miami-Dade, Florida, Alvester attended Albany State University with a full swimming scholarship, under the guidance of Dr. Wilburn Campbell, winning many swimming competitions medals. He remained a resident of Albany until his passing. Alvester was owner, operator of his company "Bryant's Lawncare" for many years and retired from UPS and Cagle/Tyson. From the time he was a teen, Alvester's passion and hobby was being a CB operator. Known in "Radio land" as " MR. 25". He was an avid fisherman, spending many days in his favorite, secret fishing hole. He is survived by partner Betty Jones and family; sons Corey D. Bryant of Albany, GA; Gerald H. Bryant and wife Autumn of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughters Glecia S. Batten Carter, her husband Curtis Carter their 2 sons and 1 daughter; Bisa T. Batten Lewis and her 2 sons with former wife, Pearlie B. Powell Batten Bryant; siblings Everett Hill, Willie (Butch) (Atiba) Hill, Stevie Hill and Mary Ann Hill along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
