He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Wilkerson and Jewell Powell Wilkerson; his wife Shirley A. Wilkerson; and his siblings, George Wilkerson, Robert Wilkerson, Opal Wilkerson and Ruth Teems.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa; his son-in-law Tony Hubbard of Winston; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Hubbard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). An entombment was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mozley Memorial Gardens (3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).
