She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Linwood Slappey Jr. and Marion Lucile Slappey; her husband Franklin D. Jackson; and her brother Jimmy Linwood Slappey. She is survived by: her son Bill (Robin Jackson); her grandchildren, Christin Taylor (Seth) and Madison Cook (Cole); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Rogers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosehaven Funeral Home (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lithia Springs Methodist Church (3711 Temple St, Lithia Springs, GA 30122). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Mozley Memorial Gardens (3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).
