It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glen William Short Jr. of Lithia Springs, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen W. Short and Mary Greene Short; and his brother Walter G. Short. He is survived by: his wife Delores Herr Weaver Short; his children, Debbie Cox (Glenn Holbrook), Glenda Martillotti (Dan) of Texas and Andrew of Carrollton; his stepchildren, Kay Gibbs (David) of Pennsylvania and Neil L. Weaver (Lisa) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Devin Kaley (Kevin Mags), Anthony Martillotti, Cheyene Bulford (Zach), Angela Martillotti (Audrey Locaille), Dale Layton and Stormie George; his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Weaver (Alexis), Carissa Sneddon (Eben), Joshua and Claire Gibbs; his great grandchildren, Farryn Kaley, Aubree, Zeke Bulford and Lillian George; and his siblings, Joyce Jones (Don), Cheryl Eicher (Lowell) and Dale Short (Arlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
