He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Beard and Sarah Hooks Beard; his wife Joyce Marie Pierce Beard; his son Kenneth "Kenny" Beard; and his brother Daniel Beard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Beard and Debbie Hayes (Tim); his grandchildren, Erika Gonzales, Sarah Hayes, Clint Hayes, Skylar Groves, Samara Groves and Jaxon Beard; his great grandchildren, Akiera and Akilleo Gonzalez; and his brothers, David Beard and Ned Beard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
