He was predeceased by: his parents, William Calvin Crider and Mittie Shelton Crider; his former wife Mildred Audean Grissom Crider; and his siblings, Jimmy Crider (June) and Ruby Nicholson (Charles).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dianne Gordy Crider; his sons, William Carlton Crider, Jr. (Cyndy), Wendall Bradley Crider (Sonya), Grady Lee Tant (Kayla) and Jereme Craig Tant (Aubree); his grandchildren, Deana Spranza (John), Charlie Crider (Brittney), Noah Crider, Christopher Tant, Nathanial Tant, Isaac Tant and Sheridan Wood; his great grandchildren, John Spranza, Nicholas Spranza, Owen Crider and Wade Crider; and his brothers-in-law, Russell Gordy (Donna), Ronald Gordy (Mic) and Eddie Gordy (Kristie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
