She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer L. Keener and Jennie Mae McCool Keener; and her husband James William "J. W.". She is survived by: her daughter Violet Beatrice Duke; her sisters, Elsie Brown, Dorothy Ray, Sybil Smith and Charlotte Shepard; and her son James Randall Duke (Linda Kay Duke) of Lindale.
