He was predeceased by: his father Grady Sexton; his wife Kathy Darline Carr Sexton; his sons, Glenn Sexton and Joey Culberson; and his siblings, Ann James, Elaine Sexton and David Sexton.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Dickert of Rome, Larry "Howie" Sexton of Fort Payne and Dawn Rapose (Shaun) of Cave Spring; his grandchildren, Michael Carter, Chris Carter, Josh Dickert, Ashley Sexton Teems, Brent Culberson, Jamie Sexton, Jordan Gossett, Kennedy Gossett, Marrisa Palopoli, Jessica Sexton, Autumn Sexton and Chasity Sexton; his brothers, Randy Sexton, Stanley Sexton and Danny Sexton; his niece Christi James; and his sons, Chris Carter, Joshua Dickert, Brent Culberson, Colin Carter, Kennedy Gossett and Jordan Gossett. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
