With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie Murdock Burkhalter of Lindale, Georgia, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Lee Murdock and Zelma Grogan Murdock; and her siblings, Edward Murdock, Opal Gentry, Juanita Batot, Ruby Cox and Sylvia Fullbright.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Burkhalter; her sons, Steven Burkhalter (Angie) of Cave Spring and Gary Burkhalter (Janice) of Cave Spring; her sister Lana Evans of Centre, AL; and her grandchildren, Zach Burkhalter (Amanda), Crystal Polizzi (Justin), Leigh Kiser and Stephanie Stager (Tyler). She is also survived by several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
