She is survived by: her children, Mickey Dowdy (Stephanie) of Lindale, Michael Dowdy (Genia) of Rome, Gayle Ann Akins (Gary) of Lindale, Mary Jo Akins (Alan Mitchell), David Dowdy (Elizabeth) and Carol Jean Engles; and her grandchildren, Jessica Amore of Maryland, Brittany Dowdy of Lindale, Mikey Dowdy of Rome, Justin Dowdy of Rome, Jessie Akins of Rome, Brandon Akins of Rome, Jeffary Akins of Rome, Kimberly Lowery of Rome, Christopher Akins of Lindale, Misty Akins of Rome, Lena Dowdy Griffin, Reecy Dowdy, Joey Dowdy, Skylar Bates, Samantha Dowdy and DJ Fredlander. She is also survived by great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
