He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Smith and Omie Alexander Smith; his wife Nancy Kelley Smith; and his siblings, Harvey Smith (Evelyn), Marvin Smith (Beulah), Horace Smith (Odessa), Eugene Smith, Elsie Pruitt (J. W.) and Bertha South.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Donn Smith (Gail) and Edward B. Smith (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Dakota Smith and Bryson Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
