He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Deterding and Florence Draper Deterding; and his brother Dale Deterding. He is survived by: his wife Susan Deterding of Lindale, GA; his sons, Todd Deterding of Madison, WI and Steve Deterding (Edie Schlehlein); and his grandchildren, Allison, Natalie and Charles Deterding. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
