She was predeceased by: her son Mason Leonard Leatherwood Pennington. She is survived by: her father James "Jimmy" Leatherwood; her daughter Kelsey; her son-in-law Jonathan Studdard of Lindale; her boyfriend Michael Weaver; her mother Gail Brown of Rome; her stepmother Joan Leatherwood of Piedmont, AL; and her sisters, Donna White (Craig) of Rome and Angie McDonald of Cartersville. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
