He is survived by : his wife Debbie Sherman; his children, Marlin Sherman of Lincolnton, Marcus Sherman (Princess) of Evans, Keith Sherman Barr of Greenville, Willie Lewis "Knottie" Sherman, Jr. of Augusta and Jennifer Sherman Roberts (Fionne) of Augusta; his siblings, George Sherman, Jr. of Lincolnton, Fred Sherman (Jacqueline) of Lincolnton, Frank Sherman (Hywithia) of Lincolnton, David Sherman (Savannah) of Augusta, Josephine S. Becks (Lorenzo) of Lincolnton, Mary Sherman of Lincolnton, Rev. Penny S. Quinn (Dennis) of Washington, Rev. Mamie S. Gray (Shawn) of Philadelphia and Evangelist Wanda Lisa S. Perkins (Bobby) of Lincolnton; and his great grandchild Mary Dill of Lincolnton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
