It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Faye Avant of Lincolnton, Georgia, born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Neal Hyde and Katherine Sutton Hyde Massey; and her stepfather Richard Drew Massey. She is survived by: her husband Curley A. Avant, Jr.; her sons, Jeffery N. Avant (Diane) of Monroe, NC and Allen G. Avant (Christi) of Buford; and her grandchildren, Corey Avant, Lindsey Avant, Drew Avant and Sammy Avant.
