She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey and Carrie Bell Talbert; her former husband Joel Robert "Joe" Cooper; her grandson Joel Robert "Trey" Cooper, III; and her siblings, Elizabeth Reed, G. D. Talbert and James Talbert.

She is survived by: her sons, Bob Cooper (Linda) and Dean Cooper; her grandchildren, Stacey Cooper Radford, Josh Cooper, Brittany Cooper and Casey Jo Gowan (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Hudson Radford, Sydney Radford, Joel Cooper, Braylen Ashmore, Brielee Gowan and Nicclanette Denton.
