He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Guin and Betty Jean Cato Guin; and his daughter Trina Renea Guin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brooks Guin; his sons, Travis Guin (Tara) of Lincolnton and Bryan Guin of Tignall; his brothers, Matt Guin (Beth) of Lincolnton, Jay Guin (Debra) of Rayle and Johnny Guin (Beth) of Tignall; and his grandchildren, Will Guin, Taylor Guin, Holden Guin and Hadley Guin.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (200 May Ave, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church (1762 Sandtown Rd, Washington, GA 30668). A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1762 Sandtown Rd, Washington, GA 30668).
