Lillian Reese Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Reese of Lincolnton, Georgia, born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Lillian's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lillian has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William Floyd Reese, Jr.; her son James Floyd "Jim" Reese; her grandsons, James Carroll "Jimmy" Reese and Charles Spencer Reese; her great grandchildren, Roslynn Nicole Reese and Carsen Spencer Reese; and her siblings, Haydon Day of Lebanon and Annette D. Lunsford of Purdue. She was also cherished by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (200 May Ave, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Martin's Crossroads Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery (4478 GA-220, Lincolnton, GA 30817).
