He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilder and Dorothy Wheelis Wilder. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bramlett; his children, Misty Wilder (Palmer), Meredith Thornton (Chris), Joey Wilder (Amanda) and Stacey Bramlett; and his sister Sandra Wilder Schnitzer (Gary). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
