He is survived by: his wife Emmye Ward; his grandchildren, Carolin, Gary, Junior, Andrew, Grace, Rachel, Zachary, Rebekah, Lex, Anna Faith, Isabelle, Caroline, Tyler, Reid, Chloe, Davis, Dylan of Mary, J. W., BoBo and Colin; his siblings, Ken Hickman of Mountain Home, Terry and Pam Collins of Houston, Texas.; his family, Edisto and Larry; and also, Craig, Iluna Collins of El Paso, Texas, Libby, Alan Inglett of Lincolnton, Georgia, Luci, Clay Smith of Lincolnton, Georgia, LeighAnne, Chad Hersey of Waycross, Georgia, Bess Robinson, Clay Cushman, Savannah, David Linenburg of Vincennes, Indiana, Sneed, Jessica Collins of Statesboro, Georgia, Emma and Ryan Woodham of Charleston.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (200 May Ave, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincolnton Baptist Church (235 N Peachtree St, Lincolnton, GA 30817).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lincolnton Baptist Church or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
