It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elijah Phillip Johnson (Lincolnton, Georgia), who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Phillip D. Johnson and Maria McGahee Johnson; his grandparents, Phil, Carol McGahee, Ronnie and Annette Johnson; his close friend Maya "Max" Lott; and his aunts and uncles, Ted, Denise Kirkland, Stacy, Lorista Johnson, Phillip McGahee II and Rochelle. He is also survived by many cousins and numerous other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home (195 N Peachtree St, Lincolnton, GA 30817). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hephzibah Baptist Church.
