It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Frances Saggus of Lincolnton, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on October 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Jackson and Mary Anthony Jackson; her husband Bobby Joe Saggus, Sr.; and her siblings, John Jackson and Elizabeth Palmer.
She is survived by: her children, Fran Spratlin (Marcus), Bobby Joe "Bubba" Saggus, Jr. and Alvin Saggus; her sister Jeanne Snellgrove; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Aycock, Peggy Saggus and Faye Saggus; her grandchildren, Megan Goolsby (Wilkes), Madison Evans, Mason Saggus, Ward Spratlin (Heather) and Caroline Beggs (Bentley); and her great grandchildren, Lylah Evans, Carrington Goolsby, Lennox Goolsby and Saylor Saggus.
