She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Burgess Malachi Franklin and Ida Creed Franklin of Ridge Spring; and her children, Marilene Abear, Patricia Bowen (Ricky) and Rickey Carter (Vicky). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
