As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Anne may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Grady Lane and Elizabeth Amanda Fuller Lane; her brother George Mitchell Lane (late Nell); and her son Charles Mitchell Long. She is survived by: her husband James F. Long (Jimmy); her children, James Long Jr. (Little Jim), Sallie Elizabeth Long Sirmon (Bill) and Martha Anne Long Alvis; her great grandchildren, John Lane Sirmon (Heidi), Joyce Elizabeth Sirmon Watkins (John) and Linda Katheryn Alvis (Heath); and her niece Deborah Anne Lane Abitante (Peter). She is also survived by children and grandchildren and the really great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the 19th Double Branches Baptist Church (1011 Camp Daniel Marshall Rd, Lincolnton, GA 30817).
