She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Gordon and Sarah Jane Slappey; her daughter Denise Taylor Roberts; and her siblings, Dorothy, Jean, Gordon, Leroy and Edward.

She is survived by: her husband William Olin Taylor of Lilburn, GA; her children, William Taylor Jr. of Lilburn, GA, Timothy (Mariann Taylor) of Braselton, GA and Lisa (Mike Dillon) of Monroe, GA; and her grandchildren, Tara, Nathan, Brittany, Jacob, Renee, Alicia, Amanda, Steven, Alana and Richard. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
