Though Mary Hopkins may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Hopkins touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband D. C. Sorrells; and her daughter Patricia McAlister (Sorrells). She is survived by: her daughter Cathy (Sorrells); and her sons-in-law, David Long and Dan McAlister. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory - Lilburn/Tucker Chapel (6101 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA 30084). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
