He is survived by: his wife Melva Keenum; his children, Melissa Hawkins (Mike) and James Keenum Jr. (Shauna); his stepchildren, Chad Clark (Tracie) and Emily Mercer (Karl); his grandchildren, Casey Boothe, Megan Bostic, Annabelle Johnson and Mason Keenum; his stepgrandchildren, Grace Mercer, Karley Mercer, Colten Clark, Savannah Clark and Brandie Rollins; and his great grandchildren, Norman Bostic, Payton Boothe and Lucas Boothe.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory Blairsville Chapel (41 Hunt Martin St, Blairsville, GA 30512). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (15 Friendship Church Rd, Murphy, NC 28906).
