I will always remember... commiserating about our foreign language teaching programs at Georgia State... your impeccable classroom with colorful posters everywhere because you did not want to see drab gray as it reminded you of another time and place... the year my students observed the Feast Day of All Souls for Audrey Hepburn and you shared as much as a star struck fan as a teacher... insisting to clean your whiteboard with water rather than Expo cleaner... the engagement party you hosted for Ron and me... the welcome back from maternity leave breakfasts for a new mom over 40, not once but twice... your late afternoon diet coke... the national language exam French CDs with your mini boombox... your always painted nails, golden locks and heels... the kindness you showed to my three children while students at SPX... your hybrid car parked two spots down from #59... our waves early in the morning, then late in the afternoon... selling homecoming t-shirts with the patience of Job... speaking French with Madam Stockard up and down the Pius halls... your ever changing classroom table arrangements that inspired me to do the same in Rm 220! In other words, you made many memories that will keep you alive forever. Merci beaucoup Liliana!”
