It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Rodney Hicks of Lilburn, Georgia, born in Mill Spring, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hicks and Doris Hicks; his sister Diane Hicks Hoyle; his wife Carol Hicks; his children, Andy Hicks and Allison; his son-in-law Matt Kaczenski; and his grandchildren, Caden, Katelyn Kaczenski and Maverick Hicks.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SATB2 Gene Foundation, honoring Rodney's cherished granddaughter, Katelyn, who was born with SATB2-Associated Syndrome.
